We will now learn how to add a section break and change the page orientation.
To add a section or page break to a document
Select the 'Break' option from the "Insert' menu.
In this case we want to insert a new page and a section break. So select 'Next Page' from the 'Section break types' options.
When you select OK, a new page will be inserted at the end of the document. more importantly, this page is a New Section of the document. So we can manipulate the page independently of other pages in the document.
You can check that you have inserted a New Page and New Section in your document by selction the 'Normal' option from the 'View' menu. You will see the Next Page Section Break
Return to the 'Print Layout' view of your document.
Change new page orientation to 'Landscape'
Now we will change the page orientation for the new page from Portait to Landscape orientation. To do this.
Select the 'Page Setup' option from the 'File' Menu.
The select the Landscape option from the Page Setup Toolbar.
After you press 'OK' your document should look like this:
The first part of your document will be in 'Portrait' orientation, but the new page will be in 'Landscape' orientation.
